The World Bank has been supporting capacity building efforts of Government and is supporting the PDMO in building a credible, well capacitated Investor Relations Unit based on relevant experiences and best practices from other similar units. Through the World Bank-IFC Joint Capital Markets (JCAP) program, it has been providing technical assistance to IRU on good Sovereign Investor Relation principles. A local Technical Assistant will also be attached to the IRU in the short to medium term.
